Restaurant Kohlerstube in Baiersbronn

We were in both starred restaurants. The Köhlerstube was better! Asian-inspired superior kitchen that is second to none.

Yesterday evening we had the pleasure of eating in the Temporaire Köhlerstube. The original Köhlerstuben recently burned down and temporarily found a place directly above the garage. Nevertheless, the ambience is great and respect how quickly this temporary was simply and tastefully furnished. Super attentive wait staff who explain every course. It was an 8 course menu at a very high level. Interesting compositions that simply left nothing to be desired. A visit is definitely worthwhile. Thank you for this great evening.

Wonderfully friendly, not intrusive, service-warm ladies and gentlemen brought in a pleasant rhythm throughout the evening distributed creative works of art from the Lecker-Manufaktur to the table. See photos. On every plate a painting; a feast for the eyes. Too bad that it had to be snacks for appetizers with the cutlery "destroyed". Here is not cooked but magic. Here is not made but loved. The highest notes are not enough for this combination of enjoyment and sophistication. What I saw in many different colors on the plate, I found in different tastes on the tongue again. At the end of the evening it was like the expansion / enlargement of my sense scale (unlike so lofty I can not describe it). Thank you for stopping by the magician Mr. Stolte at the end of our evening and giving this arrangement another personal touch. Thanks also for this all-round service which did not end with the bill but over the wardrobe only at the exit door .....

We were there for lunch. Asian special. Food was great. Service also top. Ambiente still has some room for my taste. Prices are correspondingly high. 2 persons 160 euros. Food is really recommended. Simply heavenly! As a repeat offender, we always like to come back to this house where hospitality really still exists. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is perfect. The 7-course menu with the recommended wine accompaniment was an indescribable fireworks display, not only that it was a real treat from a visual point of view, but also that the taste harmony with the selected wines was excellent. We like to go out to eat and have been to many "star hotels" that couldn't keep up with this quality, so we can't understand why no Michelin star is flashing here. A house in which serving and serving is still a vocation and is taught - simply world class. Thank you that there is still something like that.

We ate excellent in the Köhlerstube. I would like to highlight the really extraordinary service. We went there with our 5 year old son, there were crayons and a special children's menu. The restaurant manager kept dropping by and talking to our son. The waiters were friendly, competent and also very child-friendly. Really great!

What a wonderful evening. Great service, great food, classy atmosphere. The boss personally takes time for the guests. Satisfied all round. I'm curious if the Schwarzwald Stube can top that ... Please continue.

Excellent food, excellent service!

Very little on the plate. The chef masters the "art" of putting tiny parts on the plate. Some polka dots or breadcrumbs probably owe their participation in the composition to chance. Much cannot be tasted just because you don't get enough on the tongue.

The kitchen is excellent, the service competent and warm. I will definitely come back.
